Hotel Engineer (must have hotel experience)

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel by performing various maintenance activities and providing exceptional guest services.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with maintaining the hotel by performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.

- Replace air conditioner filters and tend to air conditioners, cooling towers, and boilers to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.

- Tend to the pool area including chemical balancing, cleaning, and other related tasks.

- Maintain standards of quality guest service and increase the level of guest satisfaction by delivering an exceptional product through employee development.

- Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.

- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and management.

Requirements

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in hotel maintenance and guest services preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques.

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
