Description
At Rosario Assisted Living & Memory Care, we believe a well-maintained Community is an important part of making our community feel like home. We’re looking for a dependable, caring, and team-oriented Maintenance Manager to join our maintenance team.
As the Maintenance Manager, you’ll be ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant functioning of the facility’s physical plant and environmental systems. You will also monitor the appearance and upkeep of the facility grounds, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
What You'll Do
- Conducts regular maintenance and performs repair projects for the facility and its grounds.
- When the maintenance or repair cannot be performed by the Maintenance Manager, schedules repair and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment by third parties to ensure efficient facility operations.
- Directs and participates in maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
- Develops preventive maintenance programs.
- Prepares department budget and monitors expenditure of funds in budget.
- Recommends measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
- Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
- Reviews new product plans and discusses equipment needs and modifications with design engineers
- Directs the effort to have attractive and well-maintained grounds.
- Participates in the facility’s process improvement program(s).
- Ensures punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.

- Pay Range: $26-$29/hour, depending on experience

Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Graduation from an appropriate technical/trade school preferred.
Licenses/Certification:
- Current valid driver’s license from the State in which the community operates.
Experience:
- Five years of experience in building maintenance.
- One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- At least one year of long-term care facility experience preferred.
