Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for managing marketing campaigns with an emphasis on visitorship, membership, event ticket sales, programs, and exhibits, and performing other marketing duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns supporting museum admissions, memberships, development, exhibitions, education, animal programs, garden programs, and nonprofit initiatives.
- Direct public relations efforts through articles, press releases, promotional content, and press events.
- Manage marketing campaigns contributing to strategic planning and execution of annual budget across paid advertising, print, social, and promotional outlets.
- Represent Turtle Bay across TV, radio, media, and community organizations.
- Design print advertising, billboard placements, reports, presentations, and print collateral as needed.
- Manage marketing team overseeing print, campus signage, email, social media, digital content, and advertising while maintaining brand consistency and interdepartmental campaign timelines.
- Direct marketing strategy and paid advertising campaigns for the Sheraton Redding Hotel at the Sundial Bridge, Mosaic Restaurant, and Branch House Riverfront Bistro.
- Manage and contribute to content and media production needs.
- Track, report, invoice, and code advertising within a given budget and timeframe.
Essential Skills
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, graphic design best practices, and photography
- Working knowledge in digital advertising, including Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Hulu Ads
- Proficiency in traditional advertising, including television, radio, magazines, and signage
- Copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail, branding, and voice.
- Able to demonstrate a strong sense of branding, voice, attention to detail, and organization skills.
- Adequate knowledge of web design, development, content publishing, and SEO.
- Positive attitude with a strong sense of customer service, multitasking, and responsibility.
- High proficiency with Google Drive, Google Docs, Facebook, Instagram, and Squarespace.
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Slack, LinkedIn, and Grammarly preferred.
- Familiarity with Mac OS and iOS preferred.
Requirements
Experience and Education
- Minimum four years of working experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
