About the Role

Description

The Management Group, LLC (TMG) is seeking an experienced Multi-Site Appliance Repair & Maintenance Technician to support multiple apartment communities.

The primary focus of this position is diagnosing and repairing residential appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, ovens, dishwashers, garbage disposals, microwaves, and other common household appliances.

We are looking for a hands-on problem solver with strong appliance repair and troubleshooting skills who is comfortable working independently and traveling between multiple apartment communities.


Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential appliances.
  • Repair washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, ovens, dishwashers, garbage disposals, microwaves, and other common household appliances.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical appliance components.
  • Identify failed components and complete appropriate repairs.
  • Determine when an appliance can be repaired and when replacement should be recommended.
  • Travel between assigned apartment communities based on repair needs and priorities.
  • Complete assigned service requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Document repairs, parts used, and recommended follow-up work.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, and maintenance teams.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and commonly used appliance repair parts.
  • Follow manufacturer recommendations, company procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
  • Assist property maintenance teams with general maintenance, preventive maintenance, and apartment turns as needed.
  • Follow company policies and applicable Fair Housing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Residential appliance repair experience strongly preferred.
  • Washer and dryer repair experience strongly preferred.
  • Apartment or multifamily maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of residential appliance components and replacement parts.
  • Ability to safely use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments across multiple locations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Professional communication and customer-service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between assigned communities.
