About the Role

Description

Title: Junior Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: 6907 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA 93422

Compensation: $100k annually plus benefits


Requirements: 

  • 6 Month contract with the possibility for extension or full-time employment
  • Prefer local candidates (commuting distance to Atascadero, CA) to work in-person but remote is an option. 
  • Only considering candidates who live in CA, AZ, or NC. 
  • Experience as an architect and implementing robust server-side logic using the PHP backend framework, Laravel.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, and preferably experience deploying and managing services in AWS. They need a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. As a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and user experience.


Responsibilities:


Full Stack Development:

? Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable software solutions across the entire technology stack.

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features, enhancements, and improvements.

Front-end Development:

? Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using TypeScript React as a frontend framework.

? Optimize front-end application performance and ensure a seamless user experience.

Back-end Development:

? Architect and implement robust server-side logic using the PHP backend framework, Laravel.

? Develop and maintain databases, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability.

Database Management:

? Design and optimize database schemas, ensuring data integrity and efficient query performance.

? Implement data storage solutions and integration with third-party APIs.

Code Quality and Testing:

? Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.

? Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure software reliability.

Collaboration and Communication:

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

? Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing technical challenges.

Continuous Learning:

? Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • ? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • ? Proven experience as a full stack software engineer using a backend web framework, preferably Laravel.
  • ? Experience with Flutter for hybrid mobile development is desirable.
  • ? Proficiency with a front-end web framework, preferably React.js.
  • ? Solid understanding of databases, data modeling, and API design.
  • ? Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • ? Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • ? Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
