About the Role
 

The Program Coordinator, Continuing Legal Education Program (CLE) provides customer and logistical support for CLE online and in-person programming, including live webcasts, on-demand courses, and the Mandatory Course. The Program Coordinator handles member calls and emails to the department regarding course registrations, re-schedulings, registration refunds, and accreditation reporting and paperwork. The Program Coordinator works with staff and volunteer faculty to gather and assemble course materials, obtain speaker release forms, and financial accounting standards board forms. The Program Coordinator also will staff CLE courses in-person or online and provide logistical support for all programs.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Handles incoming telephone calls and emails to the department and provides outstanding customer service.
  • Provides CLE credit paperwork in 46 jurisdictions to course registrants for online programming, including live webcasts and on-demand courses.
  • Works with CLE staff and volunteer faculty to gather, compile and assemble course materials.
  • Provides logistical support to volunteer faculty for online and in-person courses.
  • Works with the online Learning Management System (LMS) vendor to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • Uploads course information and data in the LMS.
  • Collects and disseminates information regarding new CLE accreditation regulations and ensures that online accreditation procedures adhere to the various rules of the Bar’s 46 partner jurisdictions.
  • Processes payments, registrations, transfers, and refunds. Responds to general inquiries.
  • Develops standard operating procedures to increase the efficiency of registration and accreditation and maintains administrative systems.
  • Assists with the pre-accreditation of in-person and online courses.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Prior relevant experience. 
  • Ability to regularly work evenings to staff CLE courses. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and deadline driven. Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must work well in a team environment and be able to interact, including in-person, with Bar members, volunteers, vendors, the public and Bar employees.
  • Must work well under pressure, possess excellent organizational abilities, and able to manage several priorities in a day.
  • Must be adaptable, creative, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with online Learning Management Systems. 
  • Experience in a technical role and/or administrating webcasts and webinars.


 

This position is currently a hybrid position, with days worked in the office and days worked remotely. The hybrid status of this position may change at any time subject to the Bar’s discretion.
