About the Role

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure high standards of food quality and safety, and lead our culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic food service environment, ensuring efficient service and exceptional guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations

- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet established standards

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures

- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize operational efficiency

- Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to foster a positive and productive work environment

- Collaborate with management to develop menus and implement new culinary initiatives

- Monitor kitchen equipment and facilities, ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols

- Address guest concerns related to food quality and service promptly and professionally


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a commercial kitchen or restaurant setting

- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control

- Culinary certification or relevant training is preferred

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
