Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Remove snow safely and efficiently from commercial properties, including but not limited to multi-family locations, parking lots, and the exteriors of high-traffic facilities using a Snow Plow Truck.
- Operate a snow plow truck to clear roadways, loading areas, docks, parking lots, among others, in winter conditions, including snow, snow/rain mix, extreme weather, and temperatures
- Removes snow to create a safe pathway for the public, pedestrians, and traffic
- Reports to the assigned branch or location within the time frame given
- Be on call during the winter months for all snow and ice events
- Ensure work is being conducted in a safe manner and maintain work areas safe for the employee, the customer, the public, and the environment.
- Performs at a high and safe level of productivity
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass pre-employment drug screen / DOT Physical
- Pass a driver's background check
- Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Able to be on call 24/7 during winter months
- Able to handle the physical demands of the position
- Be punctual and reliable
- Trainable, coachable, and able to grasp new concepts quickly
- Accountable to themselves and to their team
- Be someone others want to work with
