About the Role
Description
North American Powertrain Components is seeking a dependable, experienced team member to become our Logistics Coordinator. This is a hands-on role for someone who can coordinate workflow, maintain accuracy, and keep product moving efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange daily incoming and outgoing freight
- Prepare outgoing Commercial/Proforma Invoices for border crossing
- Verify all shipping invoices have proper documentation, appropriate approvals, and are entered into the company database to ensure monthly timeline requirements
- Follow up regularly on all outstanding freight invoices
- Follow up with LTL carriers and internal sales staff for any invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist in data entry in multiple deparments
Qualifications:
- SAP B1 is an asset
- 2+ years of freight coordination work or office administrative work in freight coordination
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are a must
- Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication is a must.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and material-handling practices
- Computer proficiency with inventory/shipping systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
