Over time many guests have become property owners, many of whom reside at Rumbling Bald full-time and participate in the community on a daily basis. About the Role

Help us keep Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure beautiful for our members and guests. We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in a job well done. If you’re ready to be part of a supportive team in a beautiful mountain and lake setting, we’d love to meet you!
This part-time position is scheduled for 29 hours per week. Qualified candidates must be available to work 8:30am-5pm on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Job Duties:
- Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items.
- Sort laundry and treat stained items as needed.
- Inspect linens for cleanliness, stains, damage, and excessive wear.
- Operate laundry equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized laundry and linen storage areas.
- Monitor linen supplies and report shortages, damaged items, or equipment issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals.
- Coordinates with the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor relating to work priorities and provides assistance when/where needed.
- Assists with other housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong teamwork and customer service focus.
- High energy, dependable, and maintains a positive attitude.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
