Full-Time OT Role | Illinois

Help Students Develop the Skills They Need to Succeed

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to support students in an Illinois school district during the academic year. This role is ideal for an OT who enjoys working with students and applying therapeutic strategies that promote participation, independence, and success at school.

You’ll deliver in-person OT services tailored to student needs, addressing functional skills that impact learning and daily school activities. You’ll work alongside educators and student support teams to ensure therapy services align with each student’s educational goals.

Role Responsibilities

You’ll provide in-person occupational therapy services to students and work closely with teachers, school personnel, and related service providers to support individual student needs. Services may address fine motor development, sensory regulation, self-care, classroom routines, functional skills, and participation in daily school activities.

Beyond direct therapy, you’ll contribute to a collaborative school environment by sharing your professional expertise, supporting student goals, and helping create strategies that allow students to engage more confidently in their educational experience.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active Illinois OT license through IDFPR or qualify for Illinois licensure, along with a master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program and successful completion of the NBCOT OTR examination as applicable. Applicants should be able to provide in-person school-based services and demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills. School-based experience is preferred but not required.
