Local Enrollment & Community Coordinator

Inspire Young Minds. Build Your Career. Make an Impact.
Are you passionate about working with children and helping them grow, learn, and thrive? At Inspire Early Education, we create a joyful, inclusive environment where both children and educators flourish.
Inspire Early Education is looking for an energetic, results-driven Local Enrollment & Community Events Coordinator to grow enrollment across our 7 New Jersey schools.
This role has two clear objectives: bring more new families through our doors with school and community events and make sure every family we meet becomes a captured lead that turns into a tour and a registration.
You will spend most of your time in our schools and the communities around them: planning and hosting events at our schools, getting School Directors and their teams involved in local community events, capturing and following up on every lead, and working alongside Directors on prospective family tours where extra support is needed.
This is a hands-on growth role. Success is measured by leads, tours, registrations, and enrollment — not marketing activity.
Why You'll Love Working with Us:
- We don’t just support children — we support YOU.
- Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life)
- Paid time off + paid holidays (because balance matters)
- 401(k) to invest in your future
- Employee childcare discounts
- Daily Pay App — get paid when you need it
- Career growth opportunities (we promote from within!)
- A welcoming, inclusive, and team-first culture
- Recognition for the incredible work you do
What You’ll Do:
Host Events at Our Schools
- Plan and host a regular calendar of on-site events at each school, such as Open Houses, Play & Tour mornings, Infant Program previews, Preschool and Pre-K events, and seasonal family events, that bring prospective families through our doors.
- Run each event end to end in partnership with the School Director: promotion, RSVPs, set-up and materials, staffing plan, and follow-up.
- Make every event a chance to see the school in action: coordinate with Directors so classrooms and teachers are ready and families can take a tour while they are there.
- Invite local referral sources and neighbors, such as libraries, pediatric offices, family organizations, and local businesses, to promote or co-host events and widen our reach.
Get School Leaders Involved in the Community
- As part of onboarding, mystery shop key competitors around each New Jersey school to understand the local childcare offering and identify Inspire’s key differentiating factors. Use these insights to strengthen our local messaging, events, tour experience, and enrollment approach.
- Identify the highest-potential community events near each school (town days, street fairs, National Night Out, library and park events, farmers markets, and family festivals) and build a community events calendar for every school.
- Get School Directors, Assistant Directors, and teachers out to those events: schedule who attends, and prepare them with talking points, materials, and Inspire giveaways so local families meet the people who will care for their children.
- Build relationships with local referral sources, such as pediatric and OB-GYN offices, apartment communities, libraries, employers, and family organizations, that can share our events and send families our way.
Capture Every Lead
- Make sure every family we meet, at school and community events alike, is captured as a lead (QR codes, sign-in tablets, raffles) and entered into our CRM within 24 hours with the correct lead source.
- Follow up with every event lead within 24 hours to invite them to tour, and track event leads through to registration so we know which events drive enrollment.
- Keep each school visible on social media: promote upcoming school and community events, capture photos and short videos of families, children, and teachers at events (following Inspire’s photo-consent guidelines), and post timely recaps and highlights that showcase the Inspire experience and drive families to book a tour.
- Report monthly on event results by school and event: attendance, leads captured, tours booked, and registrations.
Support Directors on Tours
- Work with School Directors to deliver a consistent, engaging, and high-quality tour experience, and step in to lead or co-lead tours where needed, such as during events, when a Director is unavailable, or at schools needing extra support.
- Bring Inspire’s differentiating factors to life during tours, connecting them directly to what matters to each family.
- Keep the enrollment package provided to prospective families accurate, compelling, up to date, and consistently used across schools.
- Support timely (<24 hours) post-tour follow-up and stay engaged with families through registration.
Who You Are
- Experience in event planning, field marketing, community outreach, sales, admissions, hospitality, or another result-driven, customer-facing role. (Required)
- Able to plan and run a great family event on a budget, from promotion through follow-up.
- Outgoing and resourceful, comfortable meeting new people and getting School leaders and teams excited to take part.
- Strong sales instincts and confidence helping families move toward a decision.
- Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple schools, event calendars, leads, tours, and follow-ups.
- Comfortable spending most of the week in the field, including some evenings and weekends for events, and being accountable for measurable results.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout our New Jersey market. (Required)
- Early childhood experience is helpful but not required.
