About the Role

Summary 

As a Back of House Supervisor, you will support the Food and Beverage Manager by leading the culinary team and ensuring food safety protocols and brand standards are followed. This role also serves as a lead cook and/or expediter. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment. 

Responsibilities 

  • Support team member management including interviewing, scheduling, and coaching
  • Maintain food safety standards and allergen awareness
  • Assistwith menu development and daily specials
  • Ensure clean and safe workspaces through daily and weekly cleaning tasks
  • Assistwith inventory, ordering, and waste tracking
  • Lead by example andmaintaincomposure in high-pressure situations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Set clear expectations and communicate effectively
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of culinary leadership experience
  • Food Handler Certification and TIPS card
  • Knife skills and inventory experience
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills

Additional Information  

  • This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment, when applicable.
  • This position requires that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 45lbs independently.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity, and wind. 
  • This position is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background check and/or motor vehicle records check, if requested by Under Canvas.
