About the Role

Description

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Johnson Creek and Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Schedule: Full-time
Travel: Regular travel between locations and occasional recruiting events

Compensation: $50,000 base salary with the opportunity to earn up to $35,000 in annual incentive compensation. Incentives include quarterly recruiting performance and successful placements & retention bonus.

Saelens is growing, and we are looking for a relationship-driven recruiter who will actively seek out talent—not simply wait for applications. You will lead full-cycle recruiting, build candidate pipelines, and represent Saelens throughout the community.


What You Will Do

  • Proactively source candidates and build pipelines for production, skilled trades, technical, professional, and leadership roles.
  • Represent Saelens at job fairs, trade shows, schools, community events, and networking functions.
  • Build relationships with technical colleges, workforce organizations, community partners, and prospective candidates.
  • Discover and recruit potential candidates before they even know they are looking for a change

Requirements

What You Bring

  • An outgoing, confident personality and genuine interest in meeting and getting to know people.
  • Two or more years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-through, creativity, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel for recruiting purposes and to regularly attend networking events some of which may be outside standard business hours.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or skilled-trades recruiting experience is preferred
