About the Role

Description

Overview

mhp.si is a digital marketing agency in Little Rock, Arkansas, serving more than 150 clients across a variety of locations and industries. The Marketing Analyst role joins our Marketing Technology team and supports their full range of work: SEO, AI search visibility, content strategy, marketing automation, CRM management, email marketing, analytics setup and tracking, and automated client reporting.

This is an entry-level role for someone who is curious about how marketing technology and data work, and eager to grow with the team. You don't need to know our tools on day one. We'll teach you. What you do need is real, hands-on experience using AI tools to work faster and think better, an interest in finding the story inside the numbers, the drive to pick up new skills quickly, and the professionalism to represent our team well with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and organize data from GA4, Google Search Console, BigQuery, and SEO platforms to support client reporting and analysis.
  • Help set up, audit, and maintain GA4 properties and Google Tag Manager containers so client tracking is accurate and conversions are measured correctly.
  • Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards, and flag anything in the data that looks off or worth a closer look.
  • Help build and maintain marketing automation workflows, such as lead nurture sequences, form follow-ups, and triggered campaigns, and test them to make sure they fire correctly.
  • Support CRM management by keeping contact records, lists, and pipeline data clean, organized, and properly connected to website forms and tracking.
  • Assist with email marketing, including building and QA-testing campaigns, managing audience segments, and reporting on opens, clicks, and conversions.
  • Support local SEO work, including Google Business Profile management, citation cleanup, and location page optimization.
  • Assist with content research and optimization, such as keyword and topic research, content briefs, and on-page recommendations.
  • Help monitor how clients appear in AI search tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity, and document what's driving those results.
  • Work with account managers and other specialists to turn findings into clear, practical next steps for clients.
  • Join client meetings and calls to present findings, walk through reports, and explain recommendations in plain language, taking on more client-facing work as you grow in the role.
  • Use AI tools to speed up research, analysis, documentation, and repetitive tasks, and share useful workflows with the team.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Internships, freelance work, and personal projects all count.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) for real work, not just casual use. Be ready to show us how you use them.
  • Genuine interest in data analysis. Any experience with GA4, SQL or reporting dashboards is a bonus.
  • A fast, willing learner who is comfortable being told "figure it out" and knows how to find answers.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when checking data and tracking.
  • Clear written and verbal communication. You'll often explain technical findings to people who aren't technical.
  • A professional, client-service mindset. You're comfortable meeting with clients, presenting your work with confidence, and representing MHP.SI well in every interaction.
  • Organized enough to juggle tasks across multiple clients without losing track of deadlines.
