Position Summary
The DOCUMENT CONTROL SPECIALIST is responsible for assisting in day-to-day document control activities needed to sustain current business, ensure document compliance, and support project development.
- Diligently analyze and organize all project documentation
- Assists in the completion, filing, and tracking of reports to accompany documentation
- Assists with the administration of company platforms and project management portals
- Manages records in accordance with company standards
- Ensures all documentation meets compliance requirements
- Effectively communicate with managers, project personnel, and clients in accordance with company and client policies
- Participates in project team meetings and retain knowledge of all commissioning activities and field reports, as well as the status of all document reviews
- Ability to work towards proficiency in interpreting and clarifying engineering drawings
- Assists in reviewing and making recommendations for improvements in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures
- Ability to complete company specific training programs
- Assist with business administration responsibilities and additional duties as needed

Requirements
- Full-Time hourly position requiring 40+ hrs. a week, overtime eligible
- High School Diploma/GED certification
- 2+ years of experience in project/operational support, including document formatting, organization, tracking, and management.
- Proficient in applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
- Ability to work alone or within a group
- Self-driven to completion of job
- Highly skilled with attention to detail and organization
- Ability to quickly reconfigure documentation
- Must have a strong commitment to personal and team safety
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
- Effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the team, customers, and external contacts, via telephone, in written form, email, and in person
- Ability to learn company specific applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Excellent customer service skills
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to travel from 10-25%
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to sustain a level of physical activity, including walking, climbing, bending, and sitting
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow company procedures and manufacturers' guidelines
- Requires the ability to demonstrate regular and predictable attendance on the job
- Valid active driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle
- Ability to pass all random DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing
