Pulmonary Medical Scribe (Part-Time, Hybrid)

Location: 9250 N 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85020 (in-person clinic) + Virtual (rehab facilities) Hours: 10–15 hours/week | Part-Time | Weekend availability required

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support our pulmonary care team through both in-person and virtual documentation. This hybrid role combines direct clinic-based scribing at our Phoenix ambulatory pulmonary clinic with remote virtual scribing for patients in rehabilitation facilities.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the pulmonary provider during in-person ambulatory clinic visits at 9250 N 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ, accurately documenting patient histories, exam findings, and treatment plans in real time
• Provide virtual scribing support for provider visits/consults conducted with patients in rehab facilities
• Complete virtual chart prep prior to visits, including reviewing patient history, recent labs, imaging, and prior notes
• Ensure timely, accurate, and complete documentation in the EHR
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Communicate professionally with clinical staff, rehab facility teams, and providers

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of medical scribing experience required
• Experience in pulmonology or a related specialty preferred
• Comfortable working both in-person (Phoenix, AZ) and virtually
• Strong typing speed and accuracy; familiarity with EHR systems
• Reliable internet connection and private workspace for virtual shifts
• Weekend availability required
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• HIPAA training/certification (or willingness to complete prior to start)

Schedule

• 10–15 hours per week
• Mix of in-person clinic shifts (Phoenix, AZ) and virtual/remote shifts
• Weekend shifts required
