Le Jardin Academy is looking for a Dishwasher (Part-time). This position is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and food service areas while supporting the daily operations of the Food Services Department. This position will assist with washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment, as well as general cleaning and organization of food service areas. Job Scope
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and food service areas while supporting the daily operations of the Food Services Department. This position will assist with washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment, as well as general cleaning and organization of food service areas.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, and other food service equipment
Operates and maintains the commercial dishwashing equipment according to established procedures
Ensures all dishes and food service items are properly cleaned and sanitized before returning them to service
Keeps dishwashing areas clean, organized, and free of debris
Assists with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen, food preparation, serving, and dining areas as needed including the Food Truck
Sweeps, mops, and maintains floors in designated food service areas
Takes out trash and replaces liners as needed
Assists with putting away clean dishes, supplies, and equipment in their proper locations
Assists Food Services staff with general kitchen duties and other tasks as needed
Follows all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times
Reports broken or malfunctioning equipment, plumbing issues, or other maintenance concerns to the Food Services Manager
Handles food service equipment and supplies safely and appropriately
Works cooperatively with Food Services staff to ensure efficient daily operations
Performs additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to the requirements listed.
Education/Experience
High School Diploma and/or relevant experience
First Aid/CPR Certification preferred
