About the Role
Description
Job Overview:
The Installation Technician will travel nationwide with the Installation Manager to assist with equipment installations, system upgrades, and quality control inspections. This hands-on position supports the installation team by preparing materials, assembling equipment, troubleshooting issues, documenting completed work, and ensuring every installation meets company and safety standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Travel nationwide to support equipment installations and quality control inspections.
- Assist with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and equipment assembly tasks.
- Prepare tools, equipment, materials, and job sites for installation.
- Work with the Installation Manager and local technicians to complete projects.
- Assist with inspecting existing and newly installed systems for quality and compliance.
- Take photos and maintain accurate installation and QC documentation.
- Follow all company safety procedures and customer site requirements.
- Communicate project progress and field concerns to Installation Manager.
- Support system testing, startup, troubleshooting, and follow-up service.
- Additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, kneeling, and walking for extended periods.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and adhere to age requirements (at least 21 years of age).
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
