Job Description Summary

At Service Stream, we're looking for a commercially minded and highly analytical Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Central Group FP&A team. Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, you will partner closely with the Business Services leadership team and broader finance function to deliver insightful financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the finance support model across Property, Fleet & Plant, and Supply Chain functions while influencing strategic decision-making across the business.

Working arrangements: Supporting hybrid working, 3 days in office 2 days from home.



About the role

As a trusted finance partner, you'll provide meaningful financial insights that support operational and strategic outcomes. You'll be responsible for month-end reporting, forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis, and driving continuous improvement across reporting frameworks, systems, and processes.


  • Partner with executive and senior leaders to deliver high‑quality financial insight and decision support
  • Lead monthly P&L reporting, including detailed variance analysis, commentary, and performance metrics
  • Support end‑to‑end rolling forecasts and the annual budgeting process, providing insights into cost drivers, trends, and workforce utilisation
  • Deliver timely and accurate recharges, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations relating to property and fleet expenditure.
  • Develop and monitor key departmental KPIs to improve operational efficiency and performance.
  • Analyse and review business investment proposals to support sound commercial and operational outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting frameworks, systems, and processes, including TM1, SAC, and SAP S/4HANA


About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong combination of technical finance capability, commercial acumen, and stakeholder engagement skills.


  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Accounting
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Management Accounting role.
  • Confident communicator able to influence and challenge stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in management reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis
  • Advanced analytical skills, including Excel and BI tools (Power BI experience preferred)
  • Experience with planning and reporting systems such as TM1 and/or SAC (highly regarded)
  • A continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail.
