How you’ll make a difference
- Contribute to the delivery of airport engineering projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, service roads, aeronautical ground lighting, signage, navigational aids, drainage systems, utility relocations and protections, and pavement rehabilitation across a diverse portfolio of civil and military aviation projects.
- Produce high-quality 2D drawings and data-rich digital deliverables, leveraging automation and scripting to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain models and project documentation within ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud, supporting BIM delivery in accordance with ISO 19650 standards and project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Take responsibility for the timely and accurate delivery of assigned tasks, ensuring alignment with project programmes, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across ANZ, including airport planners, architects, engineers, and digital delivery specialists. Participate in client and stakeholder engagements, contributing technical insights and design solutions.
- Undertake model validation, design coordination, and clash detection activities while maintaining compliance with AECOM's quality management systems, processes, and procedures.
- Support the continuous improvement of AECOM's digital delivery capabilities through the enhancement of standards, templates, libraries, and best practices.
Qualifications

- Experience managing and coordinating digital delivery on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of BIM processes
- Proficiency with ProjectWise, BIM 360 / ACC, and Navisworks Manage
- Experience in design, planning and construction support of civil engineering and aviation projects
- Knowledge of Civil Aviation standards and recommended practices (CASA, ICAO, EASA, CAA, FAA, MAA)
