About the Position

• Security & Compliance: Own HOLY’s security and compliance roadmap, including NIS2 and data protection requirements, incident response, cyber insurance, backups, and audit readiness. Translate risks into clear priorities and ensure critical controls are documented, implemented, and tested.
• Devices & Endpoint Management: Run the complete device lifecycle across macOS, iOS, and Windows. Own Jamf and Intune, establish secure baselines, enable zero-touch setup, manage patching and endpoint protection, and oversee procurement and rental partners.
• Identity & Access: Build reliable, auditable access management across HOLY’s systems. Own the directory, SSO, MFA, and role-based access while ensuring timely onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.
• IT Support & Infrastructure: Create a dependable support model with clear SLAs, ticketing, self-service documentation, and reduced single-person dependency. Ensure reliable networks, WiFi, and AV across offices and pop-up locations in partnership with internal teams and external providers.
• SaaS, Data & Vendors: Govern HOLY’s SaaS portfolio, file storage, NAS, backups, and relevant HR and payroll infrastructure. Build cost and renewal visibility, consolidate redundant tools, manage vendors and contracts, and validate business continuity through tested restores.
• IT Strategy & Scalability: Co-develop a IT roadmap that supports international growth and a workforce of 200+ employees and growing!. Design repeatable processes and make clear investment cases for the systems, partners, and future team capacity HOLY needs.

About You

• Experienced IT operator: You have built or significantly improved IT operations in a fast-growing company and are comfortable owning both daily delivery and long-term direction.
• Security and compliance expertise: Understanding of endpoint security, incident response, data protection, and audit readiness. Experience with NIS2, GDPR, or comparable regulatory requirements is highly valuable.
• Hands-on MDM capability: You can independently operate and optimise Jamf or an equivalent enterprise MDM platform. Experience with Intune and mixed-device environments is a strong advantage.
• Strategic systems thinker: You translate company growth into practical infrastructure decisions, scalable processes, and well-reasoned investment cases.
• Strong vendor and commercial ownership: Proven ability to manage service providers, negotiate SLAs and contracts, rationalise the SaaS stack, and own renewal cycles while maintaining operational continuity.
• Clear, trusted communicator: You explain risk, cost, and technical trade-offs in plain language and adapt your communication to founders, leaders, and cross-functional partners.
• Builder with high ownership: You thrive where processes are still being created, take accountability without waiting for a playbook, and document your work so the function does not depend on one person.

The Process

We are growing quickly and would love our new (Sr.) IT Operations Manager to join as soon as possible. At the same time, we care more about finding the right person than rushing the decision.

1. Getting to know you: A 30-minute screening call to introduce HOLY and the role, learn more about you, and check whether our expectations align.
2. Hiring Manager interview with Alan: Our People Experience Lead will dive a bit deeper into your experience and details of the role.
3. Case study & on-site interview: You will complete a practical case study and discuss your approach with the team at our HOLY Temple.
4. Reference calls: We will speak with one or two former colleagues or managers to better understand your strengths and working style.
5. Founder interview with Fredi: A final conversation with one of HOLY’s founders to confirm mutual fit and answer any remaining questions.
6. Offer & decision: If everything aligns, we will share an offer and hopefully welcome you to HOLY.
