The Saratoga Regional YMCA is seeking a an energetic and dependable Golf Instructor to create safe, welcoming, and engaging experiences for youth and adults. Under the direction of the Senior Program Director, this position assists with a variety of programs and special events while helping to maintain organized program spaces and a positive environment for participants. This role is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community while building valuable skills in a fun, mission driven setting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as a First Tee Golf Instructor for youth ages 5–10, helping participants learn basic golf skills, rules, etiquette, sportsmanship, and safety in an age-appropriate and engaging environment.
  • Lead and assist with First Tee golf activities, including putting, chipping, basic swing fundamentals, grip, stance, and other introductory golf skills
  • Set up, organize, maintain, and properly store golf equipment before and after each class.
  • Create a positive and encouraging environment where children of all skill levels can learn, participate, and build confidence.
  • Follow First Tee and YMCA curriculum, safety procedures, and program expectations while supervising participants.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 15 years old; Must be able to furnish working papers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction.
  • Current CPR PRO & First Aid certifications preferred.
