We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and highly motivated Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our busy, established gastroenterology clinic. Responsibilities
The ARNP or PA will provide comprehensive care to patients in a gastroenterology specialty setting. Responsibilities may include:
- Evaluating new and established patients
- Diagnosing and managing a variety of gastrointestinal conditions
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic testing
- Prescribing medications and providing patient education
- Managing follow-up care and chronic gastrointestinal conditions
- Collaborating closely with gastroenterologists and other members of the healthcare team
- Providing pre-procedure and post-procedure patient management as appropriate
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, providers, and staff
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
- Promoting high-quality, evidence-based patient care
Requirements
Qualifications
- Current ARNP/NP/PA licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program
- National Board certification appropriate to the position
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Gastroenterology experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to consider a motivated provider with strong clinical skills and an interest in developing a career in gastroenterology.
