Job Description (What You Will Do):
- Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to the country leadership team, providing strategic guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, succession planning, and performance optimization.
- Translate business objectives into people strategies and action plans that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
- Lead and manage employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, misconduct cases, conflict resolution, and employee concerns.
- Provide expert advice on employment legislation, due process requirements, and risk mitigation while ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance.
Leading projects to move away from standard case management to long-term strategic approach on employee relations.
- Workforce Planning & Organizational Effectiveness
- Develop and execute workforce planning strategies that align talent capabilities with current and future business needs.
- Advise leaders on organizational structures, workforce productivity, capability building, and resource optimization.
- Change Management & Transformation
- Lead and support organizational transformation initiatives, including new operating models, culture change programs, and digital HR transformation efforts.
- Drive adoption of change initiatives while maintaining operational stability, employee engagement, and compliance requirements.
- Regional Program Localization
- Partner with regional and global HR teams to adapt and implement enterprise-wide HR programs, policies, and initiatives to meet Malaysia-specific business and regulatory requirements.
- Drive effective deployment and adoption of HR programs locally.
- Talent Management & Succession Planning
- Facilitate talent review and succession planning processes to identify, develop, and retain high-potential talent.
- Build organizational bench strength and partner with leaders to strengthen leadership capability and readiness.
- Leadership Coaching & Performance Management
- Coach and develop people leaders on talent management, employee relations, leadership effectiveness, and performance conversations.
- Support the performance management process by providing guidance, tools, and interventions to drive a high-performance culture.
- People Analytics & Workforce Insights
- Analyze workforce data, employee trends, talent metrics, and organizational health indicators to identify risks and opportunities.
- Use data-driven insights to influence business decisions, improve workforce outcomes, and support strategic planning.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance HR effectiveness, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
- Support the evolution of HR practices through innovation, technology adoption, and best-practice implementation
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in any discipline.
Experience:
- Four (4) years relevant work experience in HR or related fields
