Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all CSA construction activities on site and direct the site CSA engineering team.
  • Oversee site preparation, ground improvement, piling and foundations, concrete and structural steel frames, roofing and envelope, architectural finishes and – where applicable – cleanroom envelope construction.
  • Review and validate CSA design documents, drawings, specifications, shop drawings and method statements for buildability, with the design consultants.
  • Coordinate with design, MEPF, procurement and other construction disciplines to ensure seamless execution and early resolution of interfaces and clashes (incl. BIM coordination).
  • Ensure compliance with Vietnamese building codes and regulations, client standards, safety regulations and environmental requirements.
  • Manage contractors and vendors – programme, performance monitoring and issue resolution; witness pile load tests and other critical tests.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits; manage NCRs, RFIs and site instructions through to close-out.
  • Track progress against programme, assess change requests with the Cost Manager and report project status to stakeholders.
  • Champion HSE on site, with particular focus on high-risk activities (excavation, lifting, working at height, temporary works).
  • Support construction acceptance (nghiệm thu), authority inspections and handover documentation; drive continuous improvement in construction methods, safety and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Valid Grade I or Grade II Construction Practising Certificate (supervision and/or project management) for the relevant discipline – mandatory for Vietnamese nationals.
  • 8–10+ years’ relevant experience, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects across data centre, industrial / high-tech manufacturing and mixed-use sectors, from construction through to completion.
  • Strong understanding of local and international codes and standards for civil, structural and architectural works (TCVN / QCVN, with exposure to Eurocode, ACI or ASTM an advantage).
  • Experience with deep foundations and ground improvement on soft-soil sites, and cleanroom / high-specification industrial finishes, is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to lead large multidisciplinary site teams, with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and persuade others.
  • Good spoken and written English.
