Job Description

Site supervision & quality

  • Act as the client’s primary on-site representative for CSA works, monitoring earthworks, ground improvement, piling, foundations, structural frames, roofing, architectural finishes and external works.
  • Conduct daily site walks and routine inspections to verify workmanship and materials against approved drawings, specifications and the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
  • Witness key tests – pile load / integrity tests, concrete cube and slump tests, rebar inspections, floor flatness and waterproofing tests – and verify results.
  • Raise observations and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track them through to close-out; ensure strict adherence to QA/QC processes.

Technical review & coordination

  • Review design and shop drawings, method statements and material submittals; provide technical input on structural integrity, architectural detailing, material selection and buildability.
  • Review RFIs, change requests and design clarifications; identify and help mitigate design clashes, construction risks and site issues, including interfaces with MEPF.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and the project team to ensure timely and accurate execution of CSA works.

HSE, compliance & reporting

  • Ensure works comply with Vietnamese construction regulations (TCVN / QCVN), client standards, safety and environmental requirements; promote safe work practices in high-risk environments.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, site memos and photographic records; maintain accurate records of site instructions, inspections and design changes.
  • Support construction acceptance (nghiệm thu), audits, authority inspections and handover activities, including as-built documentation.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
  • 5–8 years’ experience in CSA site supervision, preferably on data centres, industrial plants, semiconductor / high-tech facilities, mission-critical facilities or large commercial developments.
  • Strong knowledge of civil and structural works, architectural details and construction methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, architectural plans and BIM models (Revit / Navisworks).
  • Good understanding of Vietnamese building codes and standards (TCVN / QCVN) and international best practice.
  • Valid Grade I or Grade II Construction Practising Certificate (Chứng chỉ hành nghề hoạt động xây dựng) in construction supervision for the relevant discipline – mandatory for Vietnamese nationals.
  • Good spoken and written English – able to write clear site reports and communicate confidently with international clients and consultants.
