About The Company
Kinet Railway Solutions is an Indian manufacturer of electric passenger trains. The company was established to actively participate in the Vande Bharat project. Following an international tender, Kinet was selected to manufacture and maintain the Vande Bharat trains.
• 120 sleeper trainsets (1,920 cars)
• 35 years of maintenance
Our modernized factory in Latur, Maharashtra, and three maintenance depots in Delhi, Jodhpur, and Bengaluru serve as hubs of innovation and employment. About the Role
Your mission
The role is responsible for managing and implementing Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) systems at the Latur site with the objective of achieving Zero Severe Incidents. The position supports EMS & OHSAS certification, ensures statutory compliance, drives safety culture through training, and manages EHS-related documentation, audits, and corrective actions.Your profile

Minimum Qualifications, Minimum Experience and Competency:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Diploma in Safety / Fire
- Additional Environmental certifications preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant procurement/sourcing experience in the railway industry, preferably with rolling stock manufacturers (OEMs), Environment, Health & Safety focus
- Having the knowledge on Statutory / Legal requirements connected with Factory act / Maharashtra State Rules.
- EMS & OHSAS internal auditor / trained
- Strong knowledge of statutory and legal EHS requirements.
- EMS & OHSAS Internal Auditor / Trained professional.
- Strong communication, training, and documentation skills.
- Ability to drive safety culture and behavioural safety initiatives.
