About the Role

Description

Director of Sales | The Revere Golf Club

Henderson, Nevada

About The Revere Golf Club

The Revere Golf Club is a 36 hole golf destination in Henderson, Nevada, set above the Las Vegas Valley. Two championship courses, the Lexington and the Concord, anchor a property that also includes a clubhouse, restaurant, banquet facilities, and event spaces. Each year the club hosts 50 to 70 weddings, up to 150 golf tournaments, and a full calendar of corporate outings, banquets, holiday parties, and private celebrations.

The Opportunity

The Director of Sales will take ownership of an established, high volume event sales operation and be responsible for growing it. This is a revenue producing position focused on filling open dates, securing repeat bookings, and developing new accounts.

The Director of Sales owns each booking from first contact to signed contract for golf tournaments of 17 players or more, weddings, corporate events, and social functions. Once an event is contracted, the Director of Sales transfers it to the banquet and operations teams with complete, accurate details. Day of event execution is the responsibility of the operations team.

The position reports to the General Manager and works closely with golf operations, food and beverage, culinary, banquet, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Business development

  • Prospect actively among corporations, event planners, wedding professionals, tournament organizers, nonprofits, and community partners
  • Develop strategies to fill need dates and maximize peak season demand
  • Generate repeat business and referrals from every event
  • Represent the club at networking functions, community events, and industry meetings

Sales execution

  • Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours
  • Conduct property tours, presentations, and client consultations
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate within pricing guidelines, and close bookings
  • Manage contracts, deposits, and event documentation through signing

Tripleseat and pipeline management

Tripleseat is the club’s sales management system and is central to this position. All leads, proposals, follow ups, contracts, and deposits are managed in Tripleseat, and the Director of Sales is responsible for keeping the pipeline clean, current, and accurate. The system is used to track conversion, booking pace, and future contracted revenue, and to support forecasting. Tripleseat experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in a comparable event CRM must be able to become fully proficient quickly.

Operational partnership

  • Develop event packages and menus with the Executive Chef and F&B leadership
  • Coordinate tournament logistics, capacity, and scheduling with golf operations
  • Understand how each booking affects staffing, capacity, and profitability

Performance Expectations

The Director of Sales is accountable to clear, measurable targets, including:

  • A minimum of 20 new prospect leads per week
  • A minimum of five meetings with new contacts per week
  • Achievement of revenue and booking goals
  • Weekly sales recaps and monthly corporate reporting
  • Partnership with the General Manager on forecasting, pricing strategy, and sales initiatives

This position requires proactive business development. It is not suited to a candidate who relies primarily on inbound inquiries.

Why Join Revere?

  • Consistent volume, with hundreds of events each year and ongoing opportunity to grow revenue
  • An established operation with an existing client base and a proven event product
  • Full ownership of the sales process and direct partnership with the General Manager
  • A property that shows well: two championship courses, a full clubhouse, and views across the Las Vegas Valley
  • A culinary and banquet team that partners with sales to build packages clients want

How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief cover letter through this posting. Applications should include specific sales results, such as annual revenue booked, number of events contracted, and CRM systems used. Applications with specific figures will be reviewed first.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in hospitality management, business, marketing, or a related field
  • Five or more years of sales experience in hospitality, weddings, catering, golf, hotels, resorts, or event venues
  • Demonstrated success meeting revenue targets and closing substantial event business
  • Experience managing a high volume of inquiries and simultaneous bookings
  • Working knowledge of Tripleseat (strongly preferred) or a comparable event sales CRM
  • Strong understanding of F&B sales, banquet operations, and event profitability
  • Confidence conducting tours, presenting proposals, negotiating, and closing
  • Strong organization, follow through, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with operations
  • Availability for evening and weekend work as business requires
