Hours - 1st shift - 7:00 - 3:30 PM - M-F On Site 

Pay Rate - $27.00 - $30.00 Depending on experience

POSITION: INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform daily cycle counts according to an established schedule (such as ABC classification) to verify that physical inventory matches system records.
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies by reviewing transaction history, receiving records, work orders, and shipping documents to find the root cause.
  • Process inventory adjustments in the ERP system with proper documentation and approval.
  • Prepare and present inventory accuracy metrics, variance reports, and financial impact summaries from cycle count results.
  • Support annual physical inventories, including pre-count preparation, count team coordination, reconciliation, and post-count analysis.
  • Identify trends and recurring causes of inaccuracy, and recommend process changes, training, or system improvements to prevent them.
  • Return unused inventory to stock after production builds, making sure quantities are verified and transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Manage consumables and hardware, including monitoring usage, maintaining min/max or kanban levels, and initiating replenishment.
  • Maintain accurate bin locations, labeling, and part identification throughout the stockroom and warehouse
  • Identify and coordinate scrapping efforts for damaged, expired, obsolete, or nonconforming material, including documentation and approvals.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Office Suite - Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Excel (Required)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Lean Manufacturing/Warehouse environment 
  • ERP system experience - Jobboss2 experience a plus
  • Verbal and written communication skills/Interpersonal relationships
  • Attention to detail. 
  • 2+ years of inventory management.
