About the Role
Description
American Lumper Services is hiring Forklift Operators (Sit-down & Electric Pallet Jack) in the Braintree, MA area! We are a rapidly growing warehouse management company looking for reliable, safety-conscious team members to join our overnight shift.
Rewards & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
- Pay Schedule: Weekly pay every Friday
- On-Demand Pay: Access your earned wages before payday
- Health Insurance: Available after 30 days of employment
- Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual starts on Day 1 (eligible to use after 90 days)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM (or until the job is completed). Must be able to work overtime upon request.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks to load and unload trucks.
- Pallet Staging: Stage pallets accurately at designated dock locations.
- Warehouse Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Teamwork: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Experience & Certification: Proven forklift experience with an active certification is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to consistently lift 25+ lbs and frequently stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl throughout the shift.
- Skills: Strong eye for detail alongside basic reading and math skills.
- Logistics: Must have reliable transportation to the Braintree facility.
- Screening: Must be willing to undergo a background check and pass a drug test.
