We're recruiting experienced Certified Nursing Assistants for multiple travel openings at a Pennsylvania state-operated intermediate care facility in Selinsgrove.

 

YOUR TRAVEL ASSIGNMENT

Weekly Gross Pay: $1,115
Taxable Hourly Pay: $11.00
Weekly Travel Stipend: $675, subject to eligibility
Contract Duration: 26 weeks
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours

 

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:15 PM - 6:45 AM

 

PAID ORIENTATION

Four weeks | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

 

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

This specialized intermediate care facility supports approximately 250 adults, ages 23-95, with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs.

You'll work alongside Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide individualized care in an environment where compassion, patience, and consistency matter.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care.
• Support meals, hydration, mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition or behavior to licensed nursing staff.
• Follow individualized care plans and established behavioral support procedures.
• Provide safe, respectful care to residents who may exhibit challenging behaviors.
• Complete required documentation and follow infection prevention and safety procedures.

 

TRAVEL ELIGIBILITY

This is a travel-only opportunity. Your permanent tax-home address must be more than 50 miles from the assignment facility. Tax-free stipend eligibility is subject to applicable IRS requirements.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Minimum six months of professional CNA experience.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to provide care to adults with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health needs, including residents who may exhibit challenging behaviors.
  • Availability to complete the required four-week paid orientation, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
  • Availability for the assigned second- or third-shift schedule and 26-week contract.
  • Permanent tax-home address more than 50 miles from the assignment facility.
  • Ability to complete facility-required clearances and onboarding documentation.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities or behavioral health needs.
  • Experience in intermediate care, long-term care, skilled nursing, or a comparable direct-care environment.

 

ONBOARDING REQUIREMENTS

Required onboarding documentation includes applicable health and immunization records and facility clearances. Flu and COVID-19 vaccination or declination status will be reviewed during screening and is not an automatic exclusion.
