About the Opportunity / A Day in the Life

This is a strong opportunity for an FNP or PA who enjoys relationship-based primary care and wants an adult-only outpatient practice with a predictable Monday–Friday schedule.

Your day will include a mix of routine primary care, wellness visits, follow-ups, acute concerns, and chronic disease management. You’ll evaluate patients, order and interpret appropriate testing, manage medications, develop treatment plans, and educate patients on their health and ongoing care.

Because this is an adult-only practice, you can focus your clinical work on adult and chronic disease management without a pediatric patient population. You’ll also have physicians, APPs, and experienced clinical staff around you for collaboration and support.

New graduates are welcome to apply. For a newer provider, this is an opportunity to build confidence and develop a strong primary care foundation within an established team. Experienced FNPs and PAs can bring their existing skills to a stable practice while continuing to build patient relationships and continuity of care.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Adult-only patient population with no pediatric primary care
  • New graduate FNPs and PAs are welcome and encouraged to apply
  • Monday–Friday outpatient schedule with limited to no call
  • Build ongoing relationships with patients through continuity of care
  • Work alongside experienced clinicians and clinical support staff
  • No travel between practice locations required

What We’re Looking For

  • FNP or PA interested in adult outpatient primary care
  • Comfortable managing both acute concerns and chronic conditions
  • Strong clinical judgment with a willingness to continue learning
  • Clear, compassionate communicator with patients and families
  • Comfortable collaborating with physicians, APPs, and support staff
  • New graduates and experienced providers are both encouraged to apply

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult patients
  • Perform new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and preventive wellness visits
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment and ongoing care plans
  • Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe and manage medications within scope of practice
  • Provide preventive care, health education, and lifestyle counseling
  • Monitor chronic conditions and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
  • Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with specialists and other healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program in the United States
  • Current or eligible for Arizona NP or PA licensure
  • FNP certification for Nurse Practitioner candidates or appropriate PA certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide professional, patient-centered outpatient care

Preferred Background

  • 2–3 years of Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine experience preferred, but not required
  • Previous outpatient experience is a plus
  • Experience managing common adult chronic conditions is beneficial
  • New graduate FNPs and PAs with a strong interest in adult primary care are encouraged to apply

This Role Is Likely a Fit If You…

  • Want to focus your practice on adult patients rather than a mixed pediatric/adult population
  • Enjoy building long-term relationships and continuity with patients
  • Prefer a Monday–Friday outpatient schedule
  • Like the variety of preventive care, acute visits, and chronic disease management
  • Value having experienced clinicians and support staff around you
  • Want a stable primary care environment where you can continue developing clinically

This Role May Not Be a Fit If You…

  • Want to provide pediatric care as a significant part of your practice
  • Prefer inpatient, emergency, or hospital-based medicine
  • Are looking for a remote or hybrid clinical position
  • Prefer a highly procedural specialty environment
  • Do not enjoy longitudinal care or chronic disease management

Why Join Us

Join an established Glendale primary care practice where you can focus on adult medicine, develop meaningful patient relationships, and work alongside an experienced clinical team. You’ll have the stability of a Monday–Friday outpatient schedule while building valuable experience across preventive care, acute concerns, and chronic disease management.

With a $120,000–$150,000 base salary plus bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, no required travel, and limited to no call, this is a compelling opportunity for both experienced providers and new graduates looking to establish themselves in outpatient primary care.

If you’re an FNP or PA looking for an adult-only outpatient opportunity in Glendale, apply today. New graduates and experienced providers are encouraged to apply.
