About The Company
BOT Consulting is the trusted GCC partner for high-growth tech companies. We help founders and leadership teams build, scale, and ultimately own Global Capability Centers that are engineered for speed, retention, and long-term value. We operate like a venture studio for GCCs. That means we don’t just deliver teams, we co-create capability. BOT brings together senior talent, a culture-first operating model, and our platform, Odyssey, to rapidly establish and scale Centers of Excellence across engineering, data, cloud, and customer-facing delivery. Our approach is designed for mid-market technology firms navigating growth, margin pressure, and talent scarcity. By investing early in shared infrastructure, governance, hiring playbooks, and delivery maturity, we reduce execution risk while accelerating time to impact. For every GCC we build, we work backward from a simple question: How does this become a $10M+ venture-scale operation within three years? That outcome-oriented mindset—focused on people, platform, and proof, shapes everything we build.
About the Role

About BOT Consulting

BOT Consulting is a venture studio for Global Capability Centers (GCCs). We partner directly with founders and global tech leaders to co-create their engineering capability, instead of acting like a traditional outsourcing agency or third-party vendor. We help global technology firms design, scale, and ultimately own their high-performance Centers of Excellence in India.

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to manage day-to-day IT operations, workplace infrastructure, end-user support, and information security compliance. This role requires a hands-on professional who can troubleshoot technical issues, maintain reliable office IT systems, manage hardware assets, and coordinate with global IT and Information Security teams.

The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, an ownership-driven approach, and an understanding of IT security standards, particularly ISO 27001, to ensure a secure, efficient, and seamless workplace technology experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Onboarding, Offboarding & Security Compliance

  • Manage standard user onboarding and offboarding procedures in strict accordance with ISO 27001 guidelines, ensuring proper access provisioning, de-provisioning, and prompt asset retrieval.

  • Partner with the global GCC IT team to coordinate, provision, configure, and deploy laptops and digital tools for GCC team members.

  • Collaborate with the Information Security (IS) team to monitor, enforce, and audit workplace security compliance.

  • Maintain office CCTV compliance, ensuring continuous recording, proper camera coverage, physical security, and access control audit logs.

2. IT Operations, Helpdesk & Attendance

  • Manage internal IT helpdesk ticketing queues, delivering timely resolutions while adhering to strict SLA targets.

  • Oversee and maintain the office attendance system (biometric/access badge hardware and software integration).

  • Provide technical support across Windows, macOS, hardware peripherals, software applications, and network connectivity issues.

3. Hardware Inventory, Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Track and manage the local hardware inventory, keeping accurate asset management records for all computers, accessories, and peripherals.

  • Source quotations from external vendors for laptops, IT accessories, and consumables to ensure cost-effective procurement.

  • Raise purchase requests (PRs) for hardware/software acquisitions and follow up through the procurement lifecycle.

4. Network & Facility IT Infrastructure

  • Set up, monitor, and maintain the office Wi-Fi and wired network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, and access points).

  • Maintain and troubleshoot conference room IT infrastructure (AV equipment, video conferencing units, displays, and wireless presentation setups).

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, System Administration, or Desktop Support.

  • Standards & Security: Hands-on experience or familiarity with ISO 27001 standards, physical security controls, and asset security protocols.

  • Networking: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi access points, and basic network switch/router configuration.

  • Operating Systems: Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.

  • Asset & Procurement Management: Direct experience managing IT inventory, reviewing vendor quotes, and generating purchase requisitions.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and international GCC partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator, or ISO 27001 Foundation.

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow, Freshservice) and asset management software.

  • Familiarity with enterprise biometric attendance tools and CCTV hardware setup.

Signs you may be a great fit

  • Impact: Play a pivotal role in shaping a rapidly growing venture studio.

  • Culture: Thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment that values creativity and ownership.

  • Growth: Access professional development opportunities and mentorship.

  • Benefits: Competitive salary, health/wellness packages, and flexible work options.
