What is Carolina SeniorCare? Carolina SeniorCare is a P.A.C.E. (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly). P.A.C.E. offers a wide variety of services to fulfill this mission such as medical services to medications, from nutritious meals to transportation – all personalized to meet the participant’s specific needs!

General Summary:

Under the supervision of the Executive Director , provides leadership in all marketing and enrollment related activities as set forth in the approved Marketing Plan for Carolina SeniorCare and coordinates the enrollment process. Obtains initial information relating to admissions, coordinates intake process, and provides information and referrals to community agencies as appropriate. Promotes the PACE Program to potential participants and community agencies. Supervises the Marketing Enrollment Assistant and Enrollment Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 1. Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.  

2. Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation. Must be able to meet Carolina SeniorCare's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage. 

3. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

4. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred. Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

5. Experience: Successful, sustaining experience in a related field that involves marketing and sales may be considered. Two to three years experience in Health and Human Services in case management, benefits, administration, or social work in a health care environment. Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications. Bi-lingual preferred. Minimum of one year working with the frail or elderly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

1. Develops and implements the approved version of the Marketing Plan.

2. Develops and implements the advertising and communications program through direct mail, publicity, newsletters, print media, and other approved mediums.

3. Responsible for preparation of the proposed budget for the operation of the areas of responsibility.

4. Assists Executive Director with marketing objectives, programs, and policies.

5. Develops a strong familiarity and knowledge of comparable programs in the primary and secondary market areas. Will coordinate visits to PACE programs to become familiar with their operations.

6. Becomes familiar and knowledgeable with the operations, services, and programs of Carolina SeniorCare and EveryAge.

7. Implements programs of financial control and quality assurance for areas of responsibility that promote the fullest utilization of available resources and provides the highest possible quality standards.

8. Participates in Interdisciplinary Team meetings when potential enrollees are assessed for enrollment into the program for purposes of providing and clarifying informationobtained during the intake assessment.

9. Performs marketing functions of prospecting, qualifying, presenting, closing, and follow-up with prospective participants through on-site and in-home presentations.

10. Responsible for development and coordination of public relations for Carolina SeniorCare to ensure compatibility with our mission, services, and public image
