Job Description

• Works under limited supervision with project management oversight to deliver BIM solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

  • Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content specific to water treatment facilities, distribution systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Delivers direct project support and production to assigned water and PMC projects, creating comprehensive drawings and models as required using industry standards and content to meet project requirements (water treatment components, pumping stations, pipeline systems, control systems, etc.).
  • Coordinates with project management consultants and stakeholders to ensure BIM models align with project schedules, budgets, and water infrastructure design standards.
  • Manages BIM documentation and model coordination across multidisciplinary teams involved in water infrastructure development and delivery.

     

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and applications
  • Demonstrated expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure design and modeling
  • Proficiency with industry-standard BIM platforms and 3D modeling tools
  • Strong knowledge of water treatment facilities, distribution systems, pumping stations, and related infrastructure components
  • Experience coordinating BIM models across multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project management consultants and stakeholders

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Autodesk Revit certification or equivalent BIM software certification
  • Experience with PMC (Program Management Consultant) projects
  • Background in training and mentoring design staff on BIM systems
  • Familiarity with water infrastructure industry standards and best practices
  • Project management experience in the water/wastewater sector
  • Knowledge of control systems and pipeline design specifications
