About the Role
Join UOW's Brand and Marketing Division in a pivotal role at the intersection of marketing, technology, data and operational excellence. As the Marketing Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for the systems, workflows and digital processes that enable marketing teams to deliver high-quality work efficiently and at scale.
Working across marketing, digital and technology teams, you'll drive process improvement, optimise marketing technologies, support automation and AI-enabled ways of working, and help build the operational foundations that underpin effective campaign delivery and customer engagement. This is an opportunity to help shape how a modern marketing function operates, ensuring teams have the tools, processes and insights they need to focus on strategy, creativity and impact.
Key responsibilities:
Drive the continuous improvement of marketing workflows, procedures and operating practices to enhance effectiveness, consistency and efficiency.
Administer and optimise marketing platforms, automation workflows and system integrations.
Partner with stakeholders across marketing, digital and technology teams to design and implement scalable operational solutions.
Identify opportunities to leverage automation, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve productivity, personalisation and marketing performance.
Support the effective use of data, systems and reporting to enable informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
About the Team
The Brand & Marketing Division plays a critical role in shaping how UOW is understood, chosen and championed by students, partners and communities around the world.
We're investing in the systems, capabilities and ways of working that will support the University's next phase of growth. This role will help drive improvements in marketing technology, automation, digital experience and AI-enabled workflows, working across a team of specialists in strategy, content, campaigns, creative production and digital delivery.

What You’ll Bring
A degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
Experience in marketing operations, digital marketing or marketing technology administration, including marketing automation, CRM or content management platforms.
Strong capability in process improvement, workflow optimisation and translating business requirements into practical technology-enabled solutions.
Sound understanding of digital marketing, data management, automation and emerging technologies, including the ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and a demonstrated interest in leveraging artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve ways of working.

Level 6/7: $96,898 - $119,986 + 17% Superannuation
