About the Role

Truck-to-Truck (T2T) Coordinator

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.
Pay: $23–$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Position Summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Truck-to-Truck Coordinator to support the movement and placement of waste from company facilities, direct generators, and field service projects. This primarily office-based position processes driver paperwork, assigns empty and full trailers, and coordinates logistics through company software.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and administrative skills, is comfortable using computer systems, and can work independently during the evening shift.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process driver paperwork, maintaining accurate shipment records.
  • Assign empty and full trailers and update trailer assignments in company software.
  • Communicate with drivers, transportation teams, and facility personnel to coordinate loads and trailer movements.
  • Coordinate loads between hubs, plants, and central logistics.
  • Prepare outbound shipments for their final destination, including barcoding, recording weights, and palletizing.
  • Dispatch transportation from hubs, maximizing trailer weights and transportation efficiency while maintaining compliance with storage permits.
  • Ensure appropriate DOT exemptions are used for the transfer and management of truck-to-truck containers before departure.
  • Assist with tracking manifest return timelines.
  • Maintain the hub database and Outlook–Hub Management system.
  • Complete filing, scanning, data entry, and email correspondence.
  • Immediately report leaks, releases, or other hub issues to the Health & Safety Manager or Compliance Manager and assist as directed.
  • Perform additional duties based on business needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications.
  • Office or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience using software to track information and coordinate logistics preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based, with frequent sitting and constant computer use.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and reaching, with some stooping and crouching.
  • May lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 pounds.
  • Travel less than 10%.
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
