We're recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse for a night-shift travel correctional healthcare opportunity in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

YOUR TRAVEL ASSIGNMENT

Weekly Gross Pay: $2,326
Taxable W-2 Hourly Pay: $27.00
Weekly Travel Stipend: $1,246, subject to eligibility
Contract Duration: 26 weeks, subject to requisition confirmation
Weekly Hours: 40, subject to requisition confirmation
Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, subject to confirmation

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

This Commonwealth of Pennsylvania opportunity is based in a secure correctional healthcare environment.

You'll work alongside licensed nursing professionals and an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide essential registered nursing care while following established clinical procedures and correctional facility security protocols.

Correctional healthcare requires nurses who can remain professional, adaptable, and focused while providing safe, respectful care within a secure environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Provide direct nursing care within the Registered Nurse scope of practice.
• Assess and monitor patient health and changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Provide routine and urgent nursing care as appropriate.
• Apply strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and urgent clinical situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with nursing and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Follow established clinical, safety, security, and facility procedures.
• Provide professional patient care within a secure correctional environment.

TRAVEL ELIGIBILITY

This opportunity offers a travel compensation package. Your permanent tax-home address must be more than 50 miles from the assignment facility to meet Heartline's travel-distance policy. Tax-free stipend eligibility is subject to applicable IRS requirements.

Requirements

Current, active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Strong nursing assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to provide routine and urgent nursing care within the RN scope of practice.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure healthcare environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism within a secure correctional environment.
Availability for 3rd shift, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM.
Ability to meet applicable Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and correctional facility requirements prior to placement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

At least two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in corrections or emergency care.
Previous correctional healthcare experience.
Previous acute care nursing experience.
Previous psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience.
Current ACLS certification.
Crisis intervention training.

CERTIFICATION VERIFICATION

Current BLS certification was listed as required in the previously supplied correctional RN reference. Confirm whether BLS is mandatory for Commonwealth Requisition 811015 before treating it as a submission requirement.

TRAVEL COMPENSATION ELIGIBILITY

Travel stipend eligibility depends on the consultant's permanent tax home and applicable IRS requirements.

Licensure, experience, and required credentials will be verified prior to submission.
