Heartline Staffing is hiring an OB Registered Nurse Night Weekender in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.

• Support mothers, babies, and families through labor, delivery, and the postpartum experience

SCHEDULE & PRACTICE MODEL
• Night Shift Weekender
• 72 hours per pay period
• Required holiday rotation
• Hospital OB department staffed to AWHONN Standards
• Required to float to other nursing departments as needed to meet patient care needs

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide individualized patient- and family-focused care throughout the patient's stay, anticipating changes in care needs
• Evaluate patient assessments and responses to interventions and take appropriate action according to established standards
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and competence in required registered nurse competencies, including thorough knowledge of medications administered
• Assess labor progression and manage induction of labor and cervical ripening
• Perform fetal heart monitoring and neonatal assessments
• Recognize and manage neonatal sepsis
• Manage obstetric emergencies, including prolapsed cord, breech delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, precipitous delivery, uterine rupture, and placental abruption

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Base compensation individually determined based on experience
• Additional 33% weekend bonus on all weekend hours worked for full-time licensed weekenders, paid each pay period
• Excellent benefits package

Base compensation is based on individual experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) REQUIRED
• Current Wisconsin RN license REQUIRED
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire REQUIRED
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire REQUIRED
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire REQUIRED
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification within 2 years of hire REQUIRED
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• OB experience preferred
