About the Role
Local Driver - MC & HC Drivers (HR for the right fit)
Location: Adelaide
Classification: Casual
Hourly Rates:
- Rigid $38.65 per hour
- Single: $38.65 per hour
- B - Double: $40.39 per hour
Our Adelaide depot is looking for a Local HC/B-Double Drivers to join the team, offering a casual position.
Availability: We are looking for people available in the space of Mon - Friday. We some new exciting work that is commencing we can offer consistent 4 days per week.

What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Support Local work and collection of containers from the Rail.
- Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
- Temperature Sensitive Freight – working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
- Customer Service – Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
- Teamwork & Communication – Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
- Good Work Ethic – Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go!
- Quality Checks & Control – Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current HR/HC/MC licence
- Proven commercial driving experience (local or metro delivery experience is a bonus)
- Refrigerated or cold-chain experience is helpful, but not essential
- A safe driving record (current driving history report required)
- A strong focus on safety and doing the job properly
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, on time and take pride in your vehicle and your work
