DOT Route Driver (Non-CDL)

We're excited to welcome a full-time DOT Route Driver (Non-CDL) to our Chattanooga team! In this role, you'll help us deliver fresh-baked doughnuts from our bakery to regional distribution centers, making sure our products arrive safely and on time. This is a DOT-regulated position, so we're looking for someone with a valid DOT Medical Card and at least two years of experience driving a 24-foot or larger box truck. No CDL is required! We'll provide the truck, equipment, and training you need to succeed. All we ask is that you bring a positive attitude, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to be part of a great team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 24-foot or larger box truck in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
- Load, organize, and secure products for transportation.
- Deliver fresh-baked products to regional distribution centers accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and handle products with care.
- Communicate professionally with team members and distribution center personnel
Required Qualifications and Physical Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Minimum two years of experience driving a 24-foot or larger box truck.
- Minimum one year of delivery driver experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card and ability to meet applicable DOT requirements. CDL not required.
- Current 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required at the time of interview. Obtain online at: https://www.tn.gov/safety/driver-services/mvr.html
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to begin work at 12:30 PM (end times may vary).
- Basic spoken and written English proficiency.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana.
