Why You’ll Love This Role
As the Senior Accountant, you’ll:
- Own full-cycle accounting for Soules Farms and its related entities, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statements, in QuickBooks Online and in line with GAAP.
- Manage day-to-day transaction processing (bill payments, invoicing, deposits and withdrawals) and keep supporting documentation such as settlement sheets, receipts, timesheets, and production records organized and complete.
- Reconcile cash, loan, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts, and reconcile the financials to the farm’s tax return in coordination with outside tax advisors.
- Process payroll and payroll tax payments, keeping records accurate and ready for year-end filings.
- Prepare budgets and budget-to-actual comparisons, and present quarterly financial results to ownership, turning the numbers into clear, actionable insights.

- 7–10 years of accounting experience; agricultural, multi-entity/intercompany, and payroll experience preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel; experience with other farm accounting or ERP software is a plus.
- Strong command of GAAP, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail across multiple priorities.
- Confidence presenting financial results to ownership and working with lenders and tax advisors; CPA license desired and QuickBooks Online certification a plus.
