At EDF, Success is Personal – and we'll support you to make the most of this exciting and flexible opportunity.

As a Station Guide at Hartlepool Power Station, you'll play a key role in helping visitors understand nuclear energy, our commitment to safety and the important contribution we make to local communities and the UK's journey towards An Electric Britain. • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of visitors throughout their visit

  • Supporting educational visits through visitor centre activities and guided station tours
  • Working with colleagues and stakeholders to promote EDF's reputation within the local community

  • A customer-focused and methodical approach to work
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Flexibility in the hours/days you can offer

The majority of your time will be spent on station delivering tours and presentations to a wide range of audiences, which will include walking around the entire station and guiding people of all ages around our site.

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
