At Nothing Bundt Cakes, every cake marks a moment: a birthday, a promotion, a "just because." We're looking for an upbeat, organized Assistant Manager to help run our bakery, grow our team, and make every guest feel celebrated from the moment they walk in.
About the role
As Assistant Manager, you will work under the Regional Director and will be the leader on the floor. You'll run shifts, coach team members, keep production on track, and make sure every cake that leaves our doors looks and tastes the way it should. It's a hands-on role with a clear path to General Manager for the right person.
What you'll do
- Lead the shift: open or close the bakery, assign tasks, and keep the team focused and positive.
- Wow every guest: model warm, fast service and step in to resolve any concern with a smile.
- Coach and grow people: train new hires, give real-time feedback, and help team members build skills.
- Keep the bakery running: oversee baking, frosting, and decorating schedules so cakes are fresh and orders are ready on time.
- Own the numbers: help manage labor, inventory, ordering, cash handling, and daily sales goals.
- Build our community: support local events, donations, and large catering or corporate orders.
- Protect quality and safety: uphold food-safety, cleanliness, and brand standards every day.
What you bring
- Supervisory or shift-lead experience in retail, food service, or hospitality
- A genuine love of people and a knack for keeping a team motivated during busy rushes
- Strong organization and the ability to juggle orders, staffing, and guests at once
- Comfort with basic math, cash handling, and simple reports
- Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs
- ServSafe certification is a plus (or willingness to earn it)
- High school diploma or equivalent

Locations and how to apply
We're hiring for our Pennsylvania bakeries in Whitehall, Easton, and Quakertown. This is an hourly role of 30-40 hours per week with a mix of opening, mid, and closing shifts, including weekends.
