Solution Architect

Ciklum is looking for a Solution Architect to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Solution Architect, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will be joining a greenfield B2B Marketplace development for Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC) — a centralised procurement entity within the Vodafone Group based in Luxembourg. The platform is a self service ordering portal for VF WEST deployment partners rolling out fiber-to-home infrastructure across Germany. It replaces fully manual, Excel-based procurement with a governed digital ordering channel integrated into VPC's existing enterprise systems. The solution is built as an API-led web application with a React frontend, .NET backend services, Azure infrastructure, and Entra ID (Azure AD B2C) for authentication. Core integrations include SAP S/4HANA (NSS), WMS (CFL), Transporeon TMS, MDM/MMOLA, and SAP Finance — all via an integration middleware layer. The platform covers end-to-end procurement operations: catalogue and stock visibility, partner-specific pricing, checkout, bulk order upload, allocation-based order governance, shipment tracking, invoicing, returns initiation, operational reporting and automated notifications. The architecture is modular and designed to scale across additional customers and deployment partner networks without redesign.

Responsibilities:

• Define and own the end-to-end solution architecture for a B2B Marketplace platform integrating with SAP S/4HANA, WMS, TMS, MDM and Azure AD B2C
• Design the integration middleware layer, API contracts and data flow between the Webshop and client backend systems
• Ensure architectural decisions align with enterprise security, scalability and data segregation requirements
• Lead technical discovery sessions with client system owners
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation, integration specs and decision records
• Support engineering teams during implementation to validate alignment with the target architecture
• Participate in pre-sales and client-facing sessions to present and defend technical approach

Requirements: 

• 5+ years in solution or enterprise architecture roles
• Proven experience designing API-led integrations with SAP S/4HANA or equivalent ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, Entra ID and API management patterns
• Experience with B2B platform or e-commerce portal architecture
• Ability to produce clear architecture diagrams, integration maps and technical documentation
• Comfortable working in Fixed Price delivery with defined scope boundaries
• Strong communication skills — able to present complex architecture to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in supply chain, logistics or procurement platforms is a strong advantage
