POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Housekeeping employee is responsible for maintaining assigned areas clean, safe, and organized while following company sanitation and safety standards. This role supports daily cleaning operations and ensures a clean and professional environment throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

· Clean and sanitize assigned areas according to established schedules and standards.

· Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, hallways, offices, common areas, and other facility spaces.

· Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.

· Follow all safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and company policies.

· Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repair needs to management.

· Assist with deep-cleaning projects and special assignments as needed.

· Ensure cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment are organized and stored properly.

· Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and operational needs.

· Maintain a professional, positive, and team-oriented work environment.

· Perform additional cleaning, sanitation, organization, and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safe cleaning practices.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

· Good organizational and time-management skills.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and tools.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods, up to 8-10 hours per shift.

· Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

· Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials and/or equipment as needed.

Education & Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred.

· Experience in healthcare, hospitality, long-term care, or commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
