About The Company
Arc’teryx is a Canadian company born in the Coast Mountains, where our passion for the outdoors drives us to push the boundaries of performance and durability. We design gear that not only survives extreme conditions but elevates your experience in them. With over 2,400 retail locations worldwide, our impact goes beyond gear—it’s about designing for a better future. What truly sets Arc'teryx apart is the community behind the "Bird." We're more than a team—We're a collective of problem-solvers, makers and explorers, united by a spirit of 'Leave It Better' and a deep respect for the outdoors. From Vancouver to Tokyo, Munich to New York, our teams and culture are bound by this shared purpose. If you're a creative thinker, a skilled maker or a gear expert who thrives on helping others connect with the outdoors, this is where your passion can find its home. Welcome to Arc'teryx, where we design for the wild and for those bold enough to venture into it.
About the Role

We're Arc'teryx, and we build gear that's obsessively engineered to perform in the wildest weather. Born in the Canadian Coast Mountains, we're driven by design, performance, and a deep respect for the outdoors.

At Arc’teryx, we believe that great products start with great people. As our business continues to grow across Australia and New Zealand, we’re looking for a Finance Analyst to support financial planning, reporting and analysis across the entire Arc’teryx business, providing accurate and meaningful insights to support decision-making and business performance.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the Financial Analyst helps identify opportunities, manage financial performance and inform investment decisions.

What you'll do...

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and consolidated reporting packages, including performance commentary, variance analysis and insights to support business reviews and decision-making.
  • Analyse financial performance, operating expenses and key business KPIs, identifying trends, risks and opportunities across the business
  • Partner with department managers and budget holders to develop and manage operating budgets, investigate variances and identify actions to support financial performance.
  • Support the preparation and ongoing management of budgets, forecasts and strategic business plans
  • Support sales forecasting and profitability analysis across channels and regions, providing insights to inform commercial, operational and investment decisions.
  • Develop financial reporting and analysis for regional, channel and global performance reviews, including monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Review and reconcile financial information and accounting transactions including invoice coding and other financial processes as required
  • Maintain and improve financial planning, budgeting and reporting tools, processes and systems, supporting system implementations and projects, including SAP.

What we're looking for...

You are a commercially minded and detail-oriented finance professional with 2-3 years' experience in accounting, financial analysis or a similar role. You enjoy uncovering insights and using your analytical skills to support informed business decisions. Proactive and solutions-focused, you take ownership of your work and are comfortable investigating issues, identifying root causes and recommending practical improvements. You thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships with stakeholders across different teams while confidently communicating financial information to both finance and non-finance audiences.

You have strong Excel skills and experience working with financial systems, reporting tools and large datasets. Your high attention to detail ensures accuracy and integrity in your work. Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and month-end processes will set you up for success in this role.

Adaptable and curious by nature, you're comfortable navigating change and ambiguity. You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), and progress towards a professional accounting qualification will be highly regarded.
