About the Role

We're looking for an AI & Automation Engineer with strong systems thinking and a genuine curiosity about how businesses work.

Someone who loves writing code but is just as interested in what happens beyond the screen. Someone who can understand a business need, identify the real challenge, and build solutions that people actually use.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining software development, integrations, and automation, with the opportunity to grow into the group's key technical expert in AI and automation.

You'll work closely with company leadership and our operations, finance, and HR teams in Israel and internationally, leading projects from initial requirements through development and deployment, with technical guidance from the CTO of Pulse.

What You'll Do

Develop and expand AI and automation solutions that improve how we plan, produce, and manage our operations.

• Culinary Operations – Build intelligent systems for production planning, food safety, cost management, and supply chain operations.

• Finance – Automate financial processes and connect systems and data.

• Business Intelligence – Develop tools that provide up-to-date visibility into business and operational performance across our locations.

• Proposal Automation – Build AI-powered tools to analyze tenders and streamline proposal development.

• Enterprise AI – Integrate AI solutions into our business systems and make information more accessible to support better decision-making.

Your work will cover the full development lifecycle: requirements gathering, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of both new and existing solutions, from initial concept to production.

What We're Looking For

• Around 5 years of experience in software development, building integrations, and working with production systems, with strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript.

• Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party systems.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience developing LLM-based solutions and automations, preferably in production environments.

• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into practical technical solutions.

• Independence, analytical thinking, technical curiosity, and strong learning abilities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent written and spoken Hebrew and English.

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying AI solutions to production.

• Experience with SAP Business One or other ERP systems.

• Familiarity with Qlik or other BI tools.

• Experience automating financial processes.

• Familiarity with operational, production, or supply chain systems.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

This is a full-time, office-based position at our Tel Aviv headquarters, conveniently located near the train station.
