About The Company
Homeward is rearchitecting the delivery of health and care for rural Americans by connecting payers, providers, and community organizations through partnership. By taking full financial accountability for clinical outcomes and the total cost of care across rural counties, Homeward aligns incentives and strengthens local healthcare ecosystems. The Homeward Navigation™ platform uses advanced analytics to connect members to the right care and local resources that address social determinants of health and improve holistic health outcomes. Since many rural communities lack adequate clinical capacity, Homeward employs care teams that supplement local practices and reach people who cannot access care otherwise. As a public benefit corporation and B Corp™ certified company, Homeward’s mission and business model are aligned to address the healthcare, economic, and demographic challenges that make it harder for rural Americans to stay healthy.
About the Role

About Homeward

Homeward takes the “what ifs” out of homebuying by creating financial products that give buyers and sellers certainty and convenience. We’re a fast-paced, remote-first real estate startup that partners with real estate agents to offer innovative products and services, helping clients buy with cash, sell with certainty, and time their move, regardless of the market.

Founder and CEO Tim Heyl, owner of one of the fastest-growing agent teams in the country, started Homeward in 2018 to fix the antiquated and broken real estate process. Today, we offer bundled cash offers, mortgage, and title services in 13 states, enabling buyers and sellers to move with certainty and convenience.

We’re a fully remote company with a diverse team spread across several countries - Grounded in three core values: The Golden Rule, One Team One Dream, and Calm Focus. Hear from our employees about what our values mean to them.

About the opportunity

As a Field Business Development Representative on Homeward’s Agent Success team, you’ll own relationships with a book of high-producing real estate agents in your market. You’ll introduce them to Homeward’s Buy Before You Sell and Cash Offer programs and help them turn one-off referrals into a steady, repeatable flow of deals.

We’re looking for a relationship builder who has built a career selling to agents in title, mortgage, or real estate, and who thrives on daily activity goals, owning a pipeline, and seeing their work show up in closed deals. You’ll run an established, in-person playbook in the field and be measured on the agent relationships and deal volume you create.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on a new, high-impact team: you’ll help shape how Homeward works directly with agents across the country. If you’d rather be in an agent’s office than behind a desk, and you’re energized by uncapped earning potential in a high-growth environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Note: This role requires weekly travel within your assigned metro area.

In this role, you will:

  • Build your territory. Work a prioritized list of agents and teams in your market through calls, texts, office visits, and training to create engaged agent partners.
  • Lead with in-person relationships. Run a high-touch  sales motion, holding at least 15 one-on-one meetings with agents each week.
  • Activate agents. Learn how each agent runs their business, educate them on Buy Before You Sell and Cash Offer, and identify where Homeward can help them grow.
  • Turn referrals into repeat business. Stay connected and coach agents to integrate Homeward into their client conversations and presentations, converting one-off referrals into consistent deal flow.
  • Run the playbook. Move every agent through Homeward’s five-stage motion: prospect, meet 1:1, onboard the first referral, close the first deal, and grow repeat deal flow.
  • Own your numbers. Hit your daily connects, meetings, referral, and closed-deal targets, and keep your activity and pipeline current in the CRM.
  • Partner cross-functionally. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Title, and Mortgage to remove friction and deliver an experience that keeps agents and their clients coming back.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience selling to agents. 3+ years in residential real estate sales and/or business development; title, mortgage, or real estate sales experience is required.
  • A track record of exceeding quota. You’ve built lasting agent or client relationships and consistently hit or beaten targets through consultative, value-based selling.
  • Deep local market knowledge. You understand your local real estate ecosystem and the agents who drive it; a background as a high-producing agent is a plus.
  • A conversation driven, activity focused mindset. You’re energized by daily phone conversations, building relationships through 1:1 meetings, and consistently hitting your daily activity targets. You believe in the power of consistent effort, trust the process, and focus on the actions that drive results.
  • Strong communication and business acumen. You write and speak clearly, understand how agents grow their businesses, and hold yourself accountable to results.
  • Self-directed discipline. You manage your time, pipeline, and CRM with minimal oversight in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
  • Ready for the field. A real estate license is preferred; reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout your market are required.

Compensation:

  • Uncapped, production-based variable compensation with on-target earnings of $200,000-$250,000
  • Meaningful equity grant of stock options with real upside potential

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, with company contributions toward premiums
  • 20 days of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 12 company holidays, and 2 floating holidays
  • Generous paid parental leave of up to 13 weeks
  • 401(k) with employer contribution match
  • Remote-first work environment (our headquarters are in Austin, TX)
  • Collaborative, low-ego team that values intellectual curiosity and continuous improvement

Value-Driven Employee Experience

THE GOLDEN RULE. It’s simple: Treat others the way we want to be treated. Whether we’re dealing with colleagues or customers, we don’t prioritize money or growth over people, and we practice empathy at every opportunity.

CALM FOCUS. We work in tech and build solutions for real estate. Both are fast-paced and stressful industries. But by focusing on the larger objective rather than rushing from one task to the next, we can create solutions our customers love.

ONE TEAM, ONE DREAM. Big problems require big solutions. We look at our customers’ experiences holistically and recognize that solving them requires collaboration across teams and our three affiliate companies — Homeward, Homeward Mortgage and Homeward Title.
